COURSE LOGISTICS

Canvas Official Course Platform

Canvas is Florida International University's primary learning platform for delivering online course content.  In this course, we will be using Canvas only for student emails, posting course announcements, submission of assignments, and assigning grades.

All other course resources are provided on this external course shell. This site is being used so that students can have long term access to course content without violating individuals' educational privacy. As this course aims to foster discussions beyond the semester's end, it is critical that students have access to these resources throughout their academic journey.

Remote Meeting Sessions Platform

In cases of emergency or illness, a session may be taught remotely,. In these cases the emote learning platform we will use is Zoom.  FIU students can  download the free software from Zoom to participate. A meeting code and password will be provided by email in advance of the session meeting date via email to each registered student.
